What are the characteristics of the material of rubber sealing ring products

The rubber sealing ring can be used to install on various machines, mobile phones, watches, lighters, auto parts and other equipment. It can play a sealing role in the static or moving state under the specified temperature and pressure and different liquids and gases.


The material characteristics of rubber sealing ring products are analyzed in detail as follows:


1. Fluororubber: with high temperature resistance, it can be used in the environment of -30 ℃ - +250 ℃, resistant to strong oxidant, oil, acid and alkali. Usually used in high temperature, high vacuum and high pressure environment, suitable for oil environment. Due to various excellent properties, fluororubber is widely used in petroleum, chemical, aviation, aerospace and other departments.


2. Silicone rubber: it has outstanding high and low temperature resistance, maintains good elasticity in the temperature range of -70 ℃ - +260 ℃, and has the advantages of ozone resistance and weather aging resistance. It is suitable to be used as a sealing gasket in thermal machinery. It has no toxicity and can be used to make thermal insulation, insulating products and medical rubber products.


3. Nitrile rubber: it has excellent oil resistance, aromatic solvent and other properties, but is not resistant to ketones, esters, chlorinated warp and other media. Therefore, nitrile rubber is mainly used as oil resistant sealing products.


4. Neoprene: it has good oil resistance, solvent resistance, chemical medium and other properties, but is not resistant to aromatic oil. It is characterized by excellent weather aging and ozone aging properties. In production, neoprene is usually used to make door and window sealing strips, diaphragms and general vacuum sealing products.


5. Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM): it has good temperature resistance, weather aging resistance and ozone aging resistance, and is usually most widely used in door and window sealing strips and automobile industry.


6. Polytetrafluoroethylene composite gasket is a new sealing material made of polytetrafluoroethylene and high-quality complete rubber by special production process. It combines the excellent characteristics of polytetrafluoroethylene and rubber, so that the product has excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, non-toxic, anti viscosity, good elasticity and sealing performance.
